Tektronix is a leading supplier of test, measurement, and monitoring products and solutions for engineers, with customers’ worldwide. Today, the company announced the acquisition of Veridae Systems Inc., previously, a privately held company founded to commercialize research from Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia.
Veridae Systems, Inc. provides innovative debug and validation technology that enables engineers to bring complex systems and ICs from prototype to production while realizing significant savings in both cost and time to market. A large part of the credit for this success goes to Professor Steve Wilton and former PhD student Brad Quinton for developing Veridae’s core technology. The successful development also would not have been possible with the support of many other individuals at UBC and in the local community.
